TUKAJ IN ZDAJ!

TUKAJ IN ZDAJ! Razmišljaj globalno, deluj lokalno. (HERE AND NOW! Think globaly, act localy.)

There is a great need in our local / regional environment to address the issues of climate change and related migration, sustainability and global injustice. Despite the urgency of the problem, which we will all feel on our skin, we do not talk about it and so far was addressed.

The challenge of climate change is unimaginable and remote for most people, so we want to show how we feel about this change today and what each of us can do to contribute to improvement. The aim of the project is to raise the level of awareness of these topics in our environment and the role of each individual in achieving a better and more sustainable future for young people and our local communities. We will also present examples of good practices that are already working in the world.

The aim of the project is to connect the local level with global challenges and to raise awareness of young people and the general public to improve life in our communities.

Results and effect:

  • Implementation of training on conducting youth workshops for young climate ambassadors, who will then conduct workshops for the primary target group of 16-21 years on the topic of climate change and related migration, sustainable and global injustice.
  • Preparation of the content of workshops for the target group of 16 – 21 years and implementation of at least 6 workshops.
  • Preparation of content for an online campaign on climate change, migration-related migration, sustainability and global injustice, which we will share via our FB and website in September 2022.
  • Preparation of a traveling exhibition on climate change, migration, sustainable thinking and action, glocalization – think globally, act locally. We are planning at least 4 exhibitions in Zasavje (Trbovlje, Hrastnik, Zagorje, Litija).
  • Preparation and implementation of the central public event in Trbovlje on the topic of similar changes.

The project will be implemented between June and November 2022.

“The project is part of the Climate of Change project, which is co-designed and implemented by 16 civil society organizations, the SLOGA Platform in Slovenia. The project is financed by the European Commission, in Slovenia the project activities are co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “
